Abstract
The study analyses the advantages and ambiguities associated with digital payment methods in India. It discusses the role of digital finance in financial inclusion, improved service delivery and economic development, while also examining problems such as cybercrime, unauthorized access, low financial literacy and inadequate digital infrastructure. The study highlights the rapid growth of digital and UPI payments and emphasizes the need for stronger security and financial literacy.
