About Journal (Arthamimansa)(अर्थमीमांसा)

Vidarbha Arthashastra Parishad was formed at Nagpur in the year 1970-71. It is the oldest Association of Economics lecturers in Centre India. From that year onwards the Parishad arranges regularly Annual Conferences at various places of Vidarbha. In the year 2007- 08 The Vidarbha Arthashastra Parishad decided to publish a research journal, viz Arthamimansa and the first volume was published in the annual conference at Anjangaon Surji (Amravati district) in 2008. It is a bi annual research journal and published by Parishad regularly. Dr. D. V. Jahagirdar, retired Reader in Economics from Amravati University is the editor of the journal from its inception. It is worth, to note that the research journal publishes articles in Marathi, English, and Hindi languages. In the last 10 years, the journal has received financial assistance for three years from ICSSR, Regional Centre Mumbai.

The objective of publishing the research journal are manifold. Initially, the prime objective is to induce the teachers of our region to write research articles, thereby providing the platform for newcomers as well as expert. Secondly, to publish various theoretical articles so that the member of the Parishad acquaint themselves with the new trends in economics. Thirdly, the researchers who got the Ph.D. like to publish at least the summary of their thesis. The journal likes to publish the summary so that their aspiration will be fulfilled.

Apart from research papers on various issues, book reviews are also published. The Board of editors select current issues as well as an important event in the past and invite the articles from authors which are then peer reviewed and published in the journal. Journal has also published special articles on Prof. Tendulkar Committee Report, Recommendation of 14th Finance Commission, Report of Kelkar Committee (2013), Brexit, Minimum support price for agriculture produce, Human Development Report of Maharashtra etc.

अर्थमीमांसा संशोधन पत्रिके बद्दल

विदर्भ अर्थशास्त्र परिषदेची स्थापना 1970-71 मध्ये नागपूर येथे करण्यात आली. ही मध्य भारतातील अर्थशास्त्र विषयाच्या प्राध्यापकांची सर्वात जुनी संघटना आहे. त्या वर्षापासून परिषद नियमितपणे विदर्भातील विविध ठिकाणी वार्षिक अधिवेशनांचे आयोजन करते. 2007- 08 मध्ये विदर्भ अर्थशास्त्र परिषदेने "अर्थमीमांसा" नावाची संशोधन पत्रिका प्रकाशित करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आणि 2008 मध्ये अंजनगाव सुर्जी (जिल्हा- अमरावती) येथील परिषदेच्या वार्षिक अधिवेशनामध्ये अर्थमीमांसाचा पहिला खंड प्रकाशित झाला. ही सहामाही (अर्धवार्षिक) संशोधन पत्रिका आहे आणि परिषद नियमितपणे ती प्रकाशित करते. महाराष्ट्रात सुपरिचित असलेले अर्थशास्त्राचे निवृत्त प्राध्यापक डॉ. डी. व्ही. जहागीरदार, हे या संशोधन पत्रिकेचे सुरुवातीपासूनचे संपादक आहेत. विशेष महत्वाची बाब म्हणजे या संशोधन पत्रिकेद्वारे मराठी, इंग्रजी आणि हिंदी या तिन्ही भाषांमध्ये लेख प्रकाशित केले जातात. गेल्या 10 वर्षात, जर्नलला ICSSR, प्रादेशिक केंद्र मुंबई कडून तीन वर्षांसाठी आर्थिक सहाय्य देखील प्राप्त झाले होते.

संशोधन पत्रिका प्रकाशित करण्याची विविध उद्दिष्ट आहेत. पहिले, म्हणजे आपल्या क्षेत्रातील शिक्षकांना संशोधन लेख लिहिण्यास प्रवृत्त करणे, त्याद्वारे नवोदितांना तसेच तज्ञांना व्यासपीठ उपलब्ध करून देणे. दुसरे म्हणजे, विविध सैद्धांतिक लेख प्रकाशित करणे जेणेकरुन परिषदेचे सदस्य अर्थशास्त्रातील नवीन विचार प्रवृत्तींशी परिचित होतील. तिसरे म्हणजे ज्या संशोधकांनी पीएच.डी. प्राप्त केली आहे त्यांच्या प्रबंधाचा किमान सारांश प्रकाशित व्हावा अशी सर्वांची इच्च्छा असते. ही संशोधन पत्रिका पीएच. डी. प्रबंधाचा सारांश सुद्धा प्रकाशित करते जेणेकरून त्यांच्या आकांक्षा पूर्ण होतील.

विविध विषयांवरील शोधनिबंधांशिवाय पुस्तक परीक्षणेही संशोधन पत्रिकेध्ये प्रकाशित केली जातात. संशोधन पत्रिकेचे मुख्य संपादक, संपादक मंडळासह वर्तमान तसेच भूतकाळातील महत्त्वाच्या घटना निवडतात आणि त्यावर तज्ञांचे लेख आमंत्रित करतात. 2010 मध्ये महाराष्ट्राने आपल्या स्थापनेची 50 वर्षे साजरी केली, त्या निमित्ताने महाराष्ट्राच्या आर्थिक विकासावर विविध लेख मागवण्यात आले होते आणि अर्थमीमांसामध्ये 10 लेख प्रकाशित झाले. जर्नलने प्रा. सुरेश तेंडुलकर समितीचा अहवाल, 14 व्या वित्त आयोगाच्या शिफारसी, केळकर समितीचा अहवाल (2013), ब्रेक्झिट, शेतीमालाची किमान आधारभूत किंमत, महाराष्ट्राचा मानव विकास अहवाल, वाणिज्य बँक राष्ट्रीयीकरणाची 50 वर्षे यासारख्या महत्वाच्या विषयांवर विशेष अंक प्रकाशित केले आहेत. अशा सर्व लेखांचे वाचकांनी कौतुक केले. सामाजिक विज्ञानाच्या अनेक विषयांचे व्याख्याते/प्राध्यापक देखील अशा लेखांचे/निबंधांचे स्वागत करतात.
